Liberation
Los Angeles, CA – The word Liberation is
defined as the condition in which an individual has the ability
to act according to his or her own will, to set free, or to disengage.
In this special month of October, Liberation means “Action,
Advocacy, and Awareness.” As liberated individuals in our
time, we should all stand and take “action” to causes
that affect young women, “advocate” the importance of
support & education, and bring “awareness” to those
who simply need more information.
LA’s premiere jewelry designer Heather
Betts launches a “Liberation” bracelet on behalf of
the breast cancer month of October. Haute Betts, the one-of-a-kind
handmade jewelry line, has created a special bracelet to give women
all over the world, a chance to aid and support mothers & daughters
who are fighting to survive from breast cancer.
Haute Betts designer Heather Betts is a fashion
icon, t.v host, as well as a philanthropist. Haute Betts is known
for its hand crafted custom jewelry line in which no two pieces
are exactly the same. Each design is different and her stunning
bracelets are meant to be worn stacked together on either wrist.
The combinations of crystals, ceramic beads, gems, metals, and charms
carved into a wide array of shapes and symbols allows one to create
a look tailored to their style and personality.
Heather creates jewelry for some of Hollywood’s
hottest starlets while continuously being active in organizations
such as The Humane Society and many others.
Haute Betts “Liberation” bracelet
is made of semi precious pink shell circular beads to symbolize
the never ending fight for “Action, Advocacy, and Awareness”
in breast cancer. This pink arm candy can be worn by itself or even
better, wear them the Haute Betts signature way, stacked together
to create a seamless youthful look. The “Liberation”
will be sold for $29 at participating stores and on www.hautebetts.com.
Upon purchase, Haute Betts will donate 35% of proceeds to The Young
Survival Coalitian.
The Young Survival Coalitian is a growing international
group of thousands of survivors and supporters. Members attend conferences;
lobby federal and state legislators; speak at universities, colleges,
and health fairs; and run an annual awareness campaign targeted
at the medical community - encouraging doctors and researchers to
focus more resources on this underserved segment of the population.
The YSC also strives to educate and support young women living with
a diagnosis of breast cancer.
Although this bracelet has been custom made for
Breast Cancer month, Haute Betts will carry the "Liberation"
bracelet year round to help fight the battle for cancer and awareness.
